Meeting on Language in Autism (MoLA)

By Meeting on Language in Autism (MoLA)

Overview

The Meeting on Language in Autism (MoLA) provides a forum for the scientific study of the emergence, use, and nature of language in ASD.

The goal of this conference is to bring together researchers approaching questions of language in autism from a variety of backgrounds, topics and approaches. We also aim to connect researchers on language in ASD with the autism community to ensure that our science is aligned with the needs of families with autism.

MoLA 2026 will take place on Thursday March 12th and Friday March 13th 2026 from 8am-6pm, with an Opening Reception on Wednesday March 11th from 7pm-9pm and a Bridge Day on Saturday March 14th from 9am-1pm.

Conference attendees who are taking part in the main conference are required to register for March 12-13th and pay registration fees; they do not need to register separately for the Opening Reception or Bridge Day.

If you are not attending the main conference but have received an invitation to the Opening Reception on March 11th, please register for a free ticket so we know who will be coming.

Anyone who is not attending the main conference is welcome to attend the Bridge Day on March 14th at no cost; please register for a free ticket so we know who will be coming.

The Main Conference and Opening Reception will take place at the Emory Conference Center. The Bridge Day will be held at the Claudia Nance Rollins Building on the Emory Campus. Free parking will be available at both locations.
