About this event:

Meeting 2026 Head On: Leading Healthcare Communicators Through Change

The last few years have brought much change and uncertainty to healthcare and those of us working in communication and PR roles. Next year will be no exception — an exciting, dynamic, and challenging time. Staying ahead will not just be about adapting, but leading our teams with innovation, compassion and strategic thinking.

This open conversation will explore the most pressing issues in front of communication leaders: evaluating new technology, addressing burnout, building strong relationships with organizational leadership, responding to changes in the media landscape and managing crises.

HCNW board member Alan Shoebridge will be joined by featured guest Melissa Tizon, Chief Communication Officer at Providence, to discuss how to set teams up for success in the new year and beyond.

About HCNW’s Leadership Conversation Webinar Series:

Much more than a webinar, these one-hour, discussion-focused virtual meetings are designed to encourage audience participation and help you build connections with other healthcare communication leaders in Oregon and Washington.

These conversations are intended for healthcare communicators who manage teams or are senior-level professionals with deep experience in this field.

The series is facilitated by Alan Shoebridge, associate vice president for national communication at Providence.
