Our featured guest on Sunday, October 12, is debut author Isabelle Popp, here to chat about her quirky, pumpkin-spiced, small-town rivals-to-lovers fall romance: Let’s Give ’Em Pumpkin to Talk About!

Drop in anytime between 1-2:30 PM to purchase Isabelle’s book, get it signed, chat with the author, and stroll through the book store. You’ll also have the option to pre-purchase the book at Eventbrite checkout. This is the perfect chance to fall in love with a new favorite author!

This event is free but we ask that you RSVP to attend.

Tickets are limited, so grab yours soon! If the event sells out, you can join the waitlist. Should any spots open up, you’ll have 24 hours to register before we offer them to the next person.

ACCESSIBILITY

If you have any accessibility needs, you're welcome to use our side entrance (located on the right side of the building), which is wheelchair accessible and has a ramp.

Guests who would benefit from any additional assistance are encouraged to reach out in advance — just email us at events@lovestruckbooks.com. We're more than happy to make arrangements to ensure you feel comfortable and supported. We’re always learning and looking for ways to make our events more accessible. If you have suggestions or feedback, we’d love to hear from you!

BOOK PICKUP POLICY

If you purchased a book with your event ticket but can’t make it to the event—and don’t request a refund—we’ll happily hold your book for pickup for up to 6 months after the event date.

We’ll be in touch via the email you provided at checkout to help coordinate pickup. After 6 months, if we haven’t heard from you or made other arrangements, we’ll consider the book abandoned property and may donate it or return it to inventory so it can find a new home.

Thanks so much for your understanding and for supporting our events—we love doing this with you!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Isabelle Popp's first attempt at writing a romance novel came in middle school, when she began a story about a weirdo girl who could photosynthesize. That project was abandoned, but she has plenty of other silly ideas in the hopper. When she isn't reading or writing, she's probably knitting, solving crossword puzzles, or scouring used book stores for vintage Gothic romance paperbacks. Originally from New York, she's as surprised as anyone that she lives in Indiana. Let's Give 'Em Pumpkin to Talk About is her first novel.

ABOUT LET'S GIVE 'EM PUMPKIN TO TALK ABOUT

Textile artist Sadie Fox did not sign up for this. When she agreed to come home to Pea Blossom, Indiana, it was to care for her father’s beloved pumpkin patch. The deal was that—just for the summer—she would grow a ginormous pumpkin, win the Season Produce of Indiana Celebration and Exposition (aka SPICE) pumpkin growing contest and finally win back her father’s (grudging) respect.

Instead, a horde of wild hogs destroyed the. entire. patch. Which is precisely when the annoyingly sexy, sunshiny next-door neighbor shows up.

Josh Thatcher is a tech millionaire who traded in the office for growing gourds, including experimental squash hybrids. And for the life of her, Sadie can’t understand what he sees in her sweary, tattooed, prickly self—or why he’s offering to help his biggest competitor. But a storm-fueled kiss proves there’s definitely something growing between them.

Maybe it’s just attraction. Maybe it’s more. Whatever it is, it’s already bigger than Sadie’s fast-growing pumpkin…or the secret that Josh has been hiding.
