Carissa Potter is a human longing for connection. She writes books, makes art and public commissions, and hosts the series Bad at Keeping Secrets (one of Substack’s featured newsletters of 2022) where she talks to other humans doing really interesting things. Carissa is the founder of the stationery and gift line People I’ve Loved. She is the author of four books, including Breath Through It and It’s Ok to Feel Things Deeply. And she was one of Ad Age’s 24 Most Inspiring People of 2021 and Cosmo Mags 24 people making the world a better place. She lives in Oakland, California with her partner & daughter and is working on accepting people as they are with love and compassion.
