Join Field Meridians and Artist Megumi Shauna Arai for an afternoon workshop in the summer sun. We will begin with a sitting meditation, getting grounded in place and intention, followed by instruction and making of a hand stitched amulet necklace with a personal keepsake embedded.

- Sewing embroidery needles and thread, fabric, glue, silk necklace cord, instruction guideline
What to Bring:
- Comfortable clothes for sitting in the park
- A blanket to sit on
- A small keepsake to glue or stitch into the talisman
Megumi Shauna Arai lives and works in New York City. She is interested in many things, including points of encounter, practices of embodiment, enfolding and unfolding aesthetics and the material and immaterial as interconnected.
Accessibility: For those who walking is not an option, sitting meditation in the park is also an option. Some dexterity is necessary for sewing / pinning.
