About this event

Dharma Talks are a great opportunity to learn more about Zen teaching. They consist of a short introductory talk by a student or teacher followed by a question and answer session with a senior teacher or Zen Master.

Join us for meditation… or more. Orientation is recommended for first-timers before joining group meditation practice. Are you joining us for the first time? Please RSVP so we know to expect you.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to come for the entire morning?

No. Join for meditation, dharma talk, or more. Please do not enter the dharma hall in the middle of a sitting meditation period to minimize distractions.

Do I have to wear a gray robe to enter the dharma hall?

No. Guest robes are available to zen students joining our practice, but are not required. As in most Asian spiritual traditions, the robes we wear are an expression of our intention. Your dharma teacher will explain how to tie your robe should you choose to wear one.

How to find us

After turning into the PZC driveway from Pound Road, keep right past the temple and main entrance; Turn right into the visitor parking lot at the end of the driveway. Make your way back down the paved path to the main entrance. A dharma teacher will meet you in the front hallway at 9am.

Do you have free parking?

Yes. If the visitor parking lot is full, feel free to park along the driveway. Please park diagonally.

Can I join online?

Yes. Our Sunday programming is available live on Zoom. Additionally, dharma talks are streamed on Facebook live and YouTube starting at 10:40am each Sunday.
