Will we be meditating for 45 minutes?

Generally, the session will be divided into two meditations, with an opportunity for enquiry and sharing if that feels comfortable for you. Occasionally, some gentle movement may be introduced to help us to let go of tension.

My mind is so busy, I don't think I can meditate

This is a common thought, so you are not alone in thinking this. Meditation is not about emptying the mind. It's about remembering you are not the mind. The meditations will be guided, so you will learn some basic techniques for calming the mind and being able to sit in stillness, comfortably.

Why meditate?

Meditation can help you to relax deeply, as well as bring calm to a busy mind. By simply being present, you can bring awareness to what is going on in the mind and just allow the thoughts to pass through without chasing them one by one. Meditation has so many benefits for your overall well-being.
