#MedievalWiki Wikipedia-Edit-a-Thon 28 October 2020
Event Information
About this Event
Medievalists around the world are invited to our feminist #medievalwiki session, creating and editing Wikipedia articles.
Our primary focus is to create articles about medieval women and their contemporary readers: especially people of colour, women, and non-binary people (including scholars and artists).
Researchers, writers, and creatives from any discipline and none are all welcome to join - although we do ask that you focus on editing and creating pages for / about women / non binary people / people of colour.
Join us for a 30-minute introduction to Wikipedia editing, followed by plenty of time for editing, and a celebratory wrap party - all on Zoom.
This event is generously supported by Temporal Communities at Freie Universität Berlin.
*Please note!*
Before the event, you should create a wikipedia username for yourself, and add your username to the Wikithon Meetup page. See our blog for instructions: https://medievalwomenwiki.wordpress.com/
