Medication Administration Training (MAT) - January 2026

MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION TRAINING (MAT)

Please note that this is a 2-day training meeting on:

January 29, 2026: 7:45 am-6:00 pm AND January 30, 2026: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Becoming MAT-certified allows you to provide continuous care to children with medication needs. Learn the procedures and precautions to administer medications and the different ways medication can be given. At the end of the training, there will be a written exam and demonstration to a trainer that you can safely administer a medication. Upon completion of the training, you will be MAT-certified under NYS OCFS regulations; the certification lasts three years.

8 training hours, 0.8 CEU

Cost: $240

In addition to completing this online registration, participants will need to apply for this training through the Early Childhood Education and Training Program website. This step is necessary and is the only way to receive your certificate at the completion of this training.

If you need to cancel, please call 518-426-7181 at least 1 week prior to your training. If you do not call to cancel, and you do not attend; you will need to pay the registration fee again if you wish to register for a future date.
