Media Literacy Seminar for Youth

This four-hour seminar will provide an overview of media literacy, and the connection between media portrayal and our understanding of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking. Learning how these things overlap can create a culture of consent and create better outcomes for survivors. Participants will gain tools and skills to critically examine several forms of media regarding messages we receive about relationships and identities.
