Description

NEATEC presents a FREE, three-day workshop on mechatronics for 2-year and/or 4-year college professors with particular emphasis in applications and techniques for the Semiconductor and Nanotechnology manufacturing industries. This is an opportunity for participants to learn about operational principles and trouble-shooting techniques for automation systems relevant to the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing industries and application of this information in the laboratory and classroom. This workshop is offered at SUNY Polytechnic’s Albany campus.



For 2-year/4-year college faculty in Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, Semiconductor Technology, or related programs



Attendees will be provided electronic copies of all workshop materials for optional use in their labs and lectures.

Presented by: Bruce Romanchak

Mr. Romanchak is an instructor with the Northeast Advanced Technical Education Center housed at SUNYPoly. Over the last thirty years Bruce has taught and worked in the field of automated industrial processes.

Presented by: Gerard McEneaney

Mr. McEneaney has been an instructor with the Northeast Advanced Technical Education Center since 2014. Prior to that Mr. McEneaney taught and worked in the fields of avionics and automated control systems. Gerard taught at Hudson Valley Community College for 28 years.
