Event description
Learn how YOU can collaboratively develop measurable outcomes in your organization to ensure you are measuring what matters.

About this event

Does your organization have trouble creating measurable outcomes? Chari can help!

Measurable outcomes for a program are change statements that require an organization to define what their program activities are and what change is expected as a result of that program. Setting clear, measurable, and collaborative outcomes is a critical element for effective and useful program evaluation work at any organization.

Development professionals frequently need these statements for grant proposals, while program staff need them to serve as a compass as to what they want to achieve. Both parties need to be in agreement as to what these outcomes are, and how they will be measured.

In this workshop, you'll first learn what program evaluation is and how this systematic process helps you understand what difference a program has made.

Then, you'll then be given a step-by-step formula your team can use to create measurable outcomes collaboratively. You'll walk away from this workshop with a succinct formula for integrating measurable outcomes at your organization!

Who Should Attend:

Nonprofit program, development, and leadership professionals who are interested in either getting started with program evaluation or who want to learn more about taking a more collaborative approach to creating measurable outcomes for your organization's programs.

Early career or student evaluators who want to learn a process on how to work with nonprofit organizations to create measurable outcomes.

What To Bring To Class:

It may be useful to have material in front of you that you can apply these concepts right away, bring one or all of the following:

  • Your organization's mission statement
  • Copy of any recent grant proposals
  • A notebook - this live presentation will not be recorded or shared

Class Format & Access Details:
