A free 2-part workshop with Rufus Lockhart of Fish & Grits Catering, The Fatherhood Empowerment Network and Fathers Feeding Families

In two sessions, busy business owners will learn about the ingredients to a healthy, affordable meal and how to prepare the meal in 30-45 minutes, so the whole family can cook together.

Session 1: Learn about your ingredients and how to prepare them.
Monday, January 26 from 6-8pm

Session 2: We’ll cook up our meal together to enjoy!
Wednesday, January 28 from 6-8pm

Learn kitchen skills and food knowledge to:

  • portion and organize ingredients
  • consider food sources to aid in healthy eating habits
  • examine the history and culture associated with particular ingredients
  • save time and reduce waste
  • create Meals That Matter!

    About Your Instructor
    Your Chef is Rufus Lockhart of Fish & Grits Catering, The Fatherhood Empowerment Network, and Fathers Feeding Families.

    Through these organizations, Rufus works with the underserved community of single fathers, providing them with the skills, and support needed to be a successful member of their household and community.

    Business owners too, are working against the clock and on low battery. With that in mind, Rufus is going to share some affordable, healthy, and time-saving recipes!
