MDX Guru – if you are a person who is creating reports for others and trying to implement report requirements from colleagues from other departments, then this is a training for you! You will practice report building and learn how to use MDX in calculations. This training requires knowledge of eazyBi basic concepts.

You will learn:

• MDX basic concepts and tips
• MDX Data types (Members, Tuples, Sets)
• Structure of simple & complex calculations
• Top 25 MDX functions
• Comments, Formatting & Regular expressions
• Debugging MDX queries
• Look up and using new functions

You will Practise(iTEST):

• Recognizing different data types
• Using CASE WHEN statements
• Using advanced functions in different contexts

Requirements:

Understanding about: Data cubes, Dimensions, Hierarchies and Hierarchy levels. Experience with: creating reports and filtering and finding specific data through reports.

About the speaker:

Gvido Neilands - report building expert, with experience around 7 years in eazyBI platform, and has mastered MDX language. Teaches fast and effective ways to understand the endless possibilities of eazyBI platform trough real-life examples and tasks.
