About this event

Health • Mental health

Becoming the best version of yourself is a life-long practice that never ends. Are you on the road to bettering yourself not just for you, but for those around you as well? Luckily for you, different camps around the island are offering FREE classes to help you better yourself.

For personal growth, Re-Train Your Brain is the perfect place to learn more about yourself, how to best react to day-to-day problems and effectively communicate your needs to others. This course is brought to you by Century Anger Management (CAM) and is a 4-week class taught by Behavioral Health, Family Advocacy Program Prevention & Education. This class teaches individuals how to properly manage stress, cope with feelings of anger and communicate effectively. Individuals and couples are encouraged to take this class to improve their reaction to negative triggers, communication and stress management. With the modern age being one with instant gratification, the classes offered are a great opportunity to slow down, look deeper within and become more self-aware in order to positively change the world around you.

Re-Train Your Brain sessions on Camp Hansen are held once a week for 4 weeks on Mondays from 9:30am-11:30am and are available to Marines, Sailors, DoD personnel as well as SOFA status personnel ages 18 and up. For more information, email fapprevention@usmc.mil or call 645-2915 / 098-970-2915
