Discover the luminous beauty of encaustic wax and transform your photographs into rich, layered works of art! In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to combine your own printed images with melted wax to create stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces.

Perfect for both beginners and returning students, this workshop covers:

• Safety and foundational encaustic techniques
• Layering, texturing, and carving into wax
• Incorporating mixed media and printed photos

Each participant will create at least three small pieces (5x7 or 8x10) using their own photographs. All supplies are provided; bring an apron or smock and your creative spirit!

Intermediate students are encouraged to bring previous work, small mixed media items, or laser prints to explore advanced techniques.
