About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

SoulFlow Sunday is a sanctuary for raw expression. It’s an a cappella open mic that’s not about performing; it’s about being heard, being felt, and letting your truth move the room.

We welcome black writers, poets, and thinkers to release whatever is on their hearts, whether it’s a poem, a journal entry, a meaningful quote or passage, or just free speech.
Each SoulFlow Sunday will have a different theme.

Attendees are encouraged but not required to share something relevant to the chosen theme.

The Gold Beams brand curates beautifully eclectic events, experiences, programming, and productions for Black creatives and our Black community at large. Our signature event, Second Mondays, is a home for an array of Black art and ethereal communion. Through Gold Beams, you get to be privy to a world of one-of-a-kind moments, events, performances, and so much more!

Second Mondays is a creative hub + open mic for Black artists. Though many of the artist bring their spoken word pieces, we highlight all forms of art. This includes musicians, visual performances, comedians, storytellers, graphic designers-whatever. We also curate panels, parties, galleries, kick-back sessions, talk sessions, workshops, and more!

We're building a family of Black creatives ;).
