Topic Title: Configurable Maximo
Description: Briefly discuss configuration versus customization, and describe some of the cool configurations Ontracks has helped customers do with Maximo. Then, deep dive on how you can use Conditional Expressions to validate data that OOTB domains have difficulty with, like dates.

Description: Demonstrate how Automation Scripts can be setup as library scripts to be called and reused by other scripts, performing commonly repeated operations with passed in variables; keeping your script library DRY. Demo example: Reusable script to send Communication Template emails.

Topic Title: Inbound Processing of Object Structures Using Automation Scripts
Description: Review the process to manipulate inbound data using automation scripts and highlight the multiple API functions that can be leveraged throughout the procedure. Will set up a simple object structure, associate an automation script, and process inbound spreadsheet data using arbitrary rules to demonstrate the functionality.

Topic Title: Communication Template Table Generator
Description: We have developed a tool, using all in-Maximo configuration items, that lets you include tables of child data in communication templates. Using this tool, you can include all the lines from a PO or all the PMs assigned to an inactive User or etc in the body of an email, or even in an RTF Viewer control in Maximo. We will explore this solution from the techie point of view.

Topic Title: Maximo and OSI PI Integration driving Conditional Monitoring
Description: We will discuss how the integration of operational data from OSISoft PI with Maximo has led to improved efficiencies leading to cost and time savings. Our presentation will focus on these topics: calendar-based PMs vs. meter based PMs, automating work request generation based on asset conditions, and end user work request generation from external applications and reports.

Description: Configure and demonstrate the solution to merge the screen changes for the same application modified by multiple developers simultaneously for different requests (projects) without conflicting with other’s developers’ changes. The demo will also include how to take out the changes done by developer without affecting other’s changes.

Description: Demonstrate the solution to send a BIRT report in PDF format from Maximo to any user in real time with the click of a button. The script generates the report in the background, gets the communications template and sends the report as PDF to any user in Maximo or outside Maximo.

Description: Maximo REST APIs have evolved over time to now cover a broad range of Maximo functionality. It is also now used for developing the modern Maximo UI. This session will give an introduction to the current REST framework and highlight some of the various features.

Topic Title: Technical Deep Dive of Maximo Integration with Cognos
Description: This session will be a technical deep dive into the complex integration between Maximo and Cognos Reporting tools. This presentation will cover the two authentication methods used and the procedural differences in user validation processes across all points of integration. Troubleshooting tips will also be demonstrated around the more complex areas of integration.
