Maui: Portfolio Reveal – The Landscape Observed by Steve Speer

Steve Speer is an seasoned travel photographer with multiple portfolios from around the world. Come and experience a brand new collection of black-and-white images created during a recent visit to Maui. Driven by the desire to see beyond the stereotypical visual representation of the island, Steve strives to find the “uncommon” points of view in his compositions.

His large format prints are presented on premium archival cotton rag papers with archival inks, Steve’s work reveals a unique perspective—inviting viewers to discover the unseen stories in iconic locations. Steve will be, sharing insights into his creative process and the nuanced visual threads in each image within his photographic portfolios.

Presentation topics will include: travel preparation, camera and lens choices, shooting on location, post processing and studio workflow, working with a master printer, working with a gallerist.
