Welcome to Matthew Kear's Paper Rose Project!

Come join us for a fun-filled day at Mulcahy's located at 3232 Railroad Ave. When Matt’s life was tragically cut short in January of 2025, his family wanted to continue to spread his love and kindness and give back to the community that Matt cherished. Matt was always there to serve those in need, whether it was a struggling military veteran, a first responder, or a stranger, regardless of whether he knew them. Matt found joy in making roses out of paper napkins, and when out with loved ones, he created and shared them. The paper rose symbolizes love, kindness, and positivity, as Matt would give them to his loved ones and to those who he felt needed extra love. Overall, Matthew Kear’s Paper Rose Project aims to teach individuals how to make paper roses and give them out, spreading love and kindness to all, in turn, carrying on Matt’s mission to love everyone.

With the funds raised by this non-profit, we hope to promote healing, comfort, and support among Veterans, First Responders, and their families. In addition, our funds will go towards helping children with special needs. We intend to achieve this by supporting other Veteran, First Responder and Children’s organizations by hosting our own fundraising events. We also intend to develop our own outreach programs to reach as many people in need as we can.
