Mastering THE Question!
Event Information
Description
The more questions we ask, the more we all learn.
Somehow, many of us were raised to sit in rows and listen and take notes . . . and tests.
Many of us ridiculed those weirdos who always asked questions. You know! The ones who would ask a question just before the bell rings, so we would all have to sit until the teacher answered.
Of course, the teachers would try to reinforce the question askers by commenting that there's no such thing as a bad question . . . while the rest of us rolled our eyes in disgust.
The older I get, the more questions I ask.
In fact, I had a conversation last week in which I ONLY asked questions, and the other person ONLY answered and answered and answered . . . Next day, that person called me and thanked me for the brilliant conversation we had.
My Father who I consider to be the most wise person I have ever encountered and is famous for saying: "Ask me ANYTHING - I know EVERYTHING!" (He's actually the consummate story teller) wrote this yesterday.
"It’s the Question, Stupid!
Not just any question.
The Question. The biggie. The one with no possible answer.
Sitting THAT Question makes anything possible.
Nothing is certain.
It is called real open space.
Breathtaking!
Ho"
THIS is the "secret sauce" to communication that gets us somewhere useful.
So . . . I ask you if you would like to participate in a session all about asking questions?
Those who show up will indubitably leave with astronomically effective communication skills which will come in handy in their personal and professional Lives . . . Their work with Clients . . . Their negotiating ability . . . and their important relationships.
Will you join us?
