Drew Gurian

Photographer and visual storyteller known for bold, authentic portraits of legends like Quincy Jones, Alicia Keys, and Yo-Yo Ma.

Drew’s path as a photographer started as a kid in the 1990s, shooting bands on black and white film in lots of NYC clubs that no longer exist.

During college, he interned for two legendary NYC photographers, Joe McNally and Danny Clinch. After finishing school, Joe offered him a job as his first assistant. Five years and half a million air miles later, he moved to Brooklyn, New York, to pursue his passion head-on.

Since that time, Drew has had the privilege of photographing some of the world’s most iconic figures- from Yo-Yo Ma and Alicia Keys to Sir Richard Branson and Quincy Jones.

Whether orchestrating a large production or working alongside a motion crew, he loves the collaborative process of creating memorable images that capture the authentic spirit of his subjects- whether celebrities or everyday people.
