Mastering the Copper Bottom Brand

Copper Bottom Craft Distillery is one of the area’s most distinctive brands – promising a high-quality rum made from scratch in the spirit of the 1700s British Royal Navy ship featured in the company’s logo.

Co-owner Jenni Craig will share the distillery’s branding success story at the FPRA Volusia/Flagler professional development program on Thursday, Jan. 15, at Copper Bottom Craft Distillery, 998 N. Beach St., Holly Hill.

Craig oversees Cooper Bottom’s visual look and brand promise, while husband Jeremy Craig directs the operations, making rum, vodka and gin as the company’s co-founder and head distiller. She will share the vision behind the distillery’s start in 2016, the challenges and opportunities they faced during the pandemic, and the worldwide attention gained this year when Jeremy Craig competed on “Moonshiners Master Distiller” on the Discovery channel.

A public relations graduate of the University of Florida, this month’s speaker is also owner of Jenni Craig & Co., a full-service fundraising agency for nonprofits ready to grow, serving clients in Volusia and Flagler counties. Prior to opening her own businesses, Jenni Craig had a successful 20-year PR, marketing and philanthropy career in higher education at Life University in Georgia and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach.
