Masterclass + Wine Club: Languedoc, Rewritten - Clos Centeilles

🇫🇷 A story of women, vineyards, and forgotten grapes

For our next Certa Wine Club evening, we travel to the heart of Languedoc, where the past and the future of Southern France meet in the glass.

At Clos Centeilles, Cécile and Patricia Delucchi embody two generations of winemakers — a dialogue between mother and daughter, between heritage and innovation. Since 1990, their estate has been a sanctuary of biodiversity and a living tribute to the region’s rare and forgotten grape varieties.

Nestled in La Livinière, the first cru appellation of Languedoc, Clos Centeilles spans 20 hectares of serene, walled vineyards. Twelve hectares are dedicated to 23 unique grape varieties, including Riveyrenc (in four colors), Oeillade, Picardan, Picpoul noir and gris, and Morrastel noir à jus blanc — ancient varietals revived with passion and patience.

From vines aged 20 to over 100 years, rooted in siliceous sandstone and rocky terraces, the wines of Clos Centeilles tell stories of authenticity, restraint, and deep respect for nature.

Cécile and Patricia craft their wines in vats only, allowing the fruit to reveal its purest identity — vibrant, textured, and profoundly expressive.
