Imitation is often considered in a negative light by many cultures. However, many well established brands started off as imitators and are now considered innovators. Imitation innovation can take many forms and is seen by many investors as a better starting point for a business. In this talk David will introduce the concept of imitation innovation and why being a follower might be the best strategy for business to pursue.

Speaker Profile:

Prof. David Butler teaches the project management elective on the University of Strathclyde MBA programme. Previously he was based in Singapore for 18 years where he co-founded the Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre-a translational research facility based on a public private partnership model.
