Chamber Dance Project, Washington D.C.'s premiere contemporary ballet company, is excited to announce a new master class series that will give the opportunity for pre-professional students to work with Chamber Dance Project’s artists. The series begins on Sunday, June 22, when Peter Boal, former New York City Ballet Principal and Artistic Director of Pacific Northwest Ballet, will teach a Master Class in ballet and repertoire workshop.
While a dancer at NYCB, Peter danced in two works with Chamber Dance Project, created on him by Artistic Director Diane Coburn Bruning. We are thrilled to be welcoming him back to the company this summer to restage Ulysses Dove’s Red Angels – a work created on Peter in 1994.
Students in pre-professional ballet programs at their schools are invited to apply for this opportunity to take an advanced ballet class with our teaching artist then learn a repertoire excerpt from Chamber Dance Project’s upcoming season Red Angels.
