East Texas Youth Orchestras brings violinist, Chloé Trevor to east Texas! Quickly becoming one of the most talked about and sought after musical ambassadors to Generation Z, Chloé Trevor has combined her spirit for classical music and her passion for mentoring the youth of today to connect on a personal level with audiences in exciting and innovative ways. Dedicated to music education and outreach, Chloé regularly connects with students and teachers through interactive performances, master classes, and lectures, both in person and online. With an extensive and ever-growing following via social media, Chloé enjoys spreading her message of positivity and encouragement to tens of thousands of people on a daily basis in order to influence present and future generations of classical musicians.
Chloé will lead a master class for string musicians on Saturday, February 25, 2017, 10am -noon at UT Tyler’s Braithwaite Recital Hall. The community is invited to bring a sack lunch and enjoy a casual Q&A with Chloé from noon to 1:30 in the Braithwaite lobby. The master class and Q&A are free and open to the public.
The following day, Sunday, February 26, Chloé will perform Wieniawski’s stunning second violin concerto with the East Texas Youth Orchestra. This performance will be held in Caldwell Auditorium, 300 S. College Avenue in Tyler at 4pm, and is free and open to the public.
Prior to these events, Chloé will rehearse with the ETYO Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, February 12, 2-4pm in UT Tyler’s Center for Musical Arts room 1221.
