Overview
Mason Lively @10pm, Hayden Redwine @11:45pm
Country/Americana artist Mason Lively has a sound that’s simple yet complex, easy-feeling but gritty and weathered, inspiring yet heartbreaking. It’s no stretch to say that there’s a song for every emotion in Mason Lively’s catalog.
Born in Victoria, Texas, but raised just outside of town in the rural community of Inez, Mason grew up in a country music atmosphere. Though he enjoyed and was exposed to many types of music, he would obsessively listen to artists far beyond his years, like Willie Nelson, The Eagles, and Merle Haggard to name a few. Growing up, while also being influenced by Pop, Folk, Soul, Blues, and Classic Rock, Mason started to take interest and study the songwriting of artists from his home state’s music scene.
West Texas native Hayden Redwine undoubtedly brings a raw, captivating, and unforgettable sound to Country music. The emerging artist's top-notch songwriting, exclusively reserved for telling stories of personal experiences, compels listeners to hear each song through its entirety. Raised on his family’s ranch and later spending years competing in rodeos, the cowboy lifestyle in its most authentic form will always be at the root of who he is. Inspired by artists such as Joe Ely, Jackson Browne and Terry Allen, Redwine effortlessly combines the Country, Alternative Country and Western genres together for a memorable sound all of his own. Having tackled some of the most prestigious stages in the Lone Star State, the singer-songwriter has grabbed the attention of many and continues to grow in popularity as he expands his catalog. With an instantly recognizable voice and an inability to be anything but genuine, this troubadour is truly not easy to forget.
