The PARTI - student led - Martin Luther King Jr. Stop The Violence Event is special for several reasons:
We honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy by fostering unity, racial equity, and youth empowerment through artistic and cultural expression.
The community provides a platform for diverse youth to showcase their talents, voice their concerns, and advocate for social justice, safety, and wellness.
Youth encourages community involvement and volunteerism, allowing youth to engage in meaningful activities that contribute to their development and the community's well-being.
Attendees commit to create a more inclusive, safe, and empowered community by engaging youth, particularly those from marginalized communities, in leadership roles.
The event is a testament to the PARTI Program's commitment to promoting education around healthy lifestyles and healthy decision-making, and it continues to inspire the next generation of financially empowered leaders.

Why this event is important:
The PARTI MLK event serves as essential spaces for education, empathy, culture, and civic engagement. With recent transitions in funding priorities in communities that face disparities, this event create pathways to address socio-emotional,
behavioral and mental health, workforce and career connections. By supporting these areas, PARTI provides evidence based hole child support programs that address safety-net needs of ALL youth.
PARTI’s Impact: This event will directly reach 1,000 youth in activities between December to June 2026. Funds raised from this event will empower 100 youth to lead service projects, provide 10 schools with bullying prevention toolkits, support youth led self-care activities to support mental health, and internship and workforce/career connection activities in the following counties: Santa Clara, Alameda, San Matero, San Joaquin, and Santa Cruz.
