Planning to attend a 2- 4 year college or a career school?
Need assistance with FAFSA completion, college essays, scholarship applications, or next steps after high school?
Come together at the Black History Museum and Cultural Center of Virginia on Monday, January 19, 2026, 12pm-3pm for a powerful, teen-led MLK Community Day celebration honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
This experience invites teens and families to explore what it truly means to UNIFY—through positive messaging, meaningful dialogue, and creative expression. Enjoy prizes, Know History Scavenger Hunt, good food, community vendors, and an electrifying JAM Session featuring teen vocalists, percussionists, and instrumentalists.
