What should I wear?

We recommend you wear something comfortable that you can move around in! T-shirts, gym clothing, yoga clothing, shorts, sweat pants--all of those work!

Do I need to bring anything with me?

We recommend bringing something to drink like water or Gatorade (or something similar!) to stay hydrated. Otherwise, no need to bring anything at all!

What age can I start my kids in karate?

Our youngest students have started at 3 & 1/2, but normally we start children at the earliest around 4 years old; it's all based on how focused they are able to be for class!

What if I have an injury and can't do a certain move?

Our philosophy has always been "make the art work with the student" -- our lead teacher actual used martial arts training as PT a couple years ago! We always make sure to help our students grow stronger and healthier, while keeping things within their range and rhythm to do.
