Leigh is the Manager of Communications and Public Relations at Modern Hydrogen. She champions the company’s mission throughout the climate tech industry as the organization continuously evolves to address the world’s most pressing challenge.

Leigh’s diverse background spans being the content director for NASA web modernization, a TV news reporter, an entrepreneur in the pet and dating industries, a regional director for the Coastal Conservation Association non-profit, and an associate professor at Tulane in Journalism and Crisis Communications. She graduated in Broadcast Digital Journalism from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and with a master’s degree in Homeland Security and Emergency Response Management from Tulane University. Throughout her career, top industry leaders have awarded Leigh acclaim in investigative journalism, pet industry marketing, and dating industry innovation. She was named by Global Dating Insights as one of the top 20 most influential people who shaped the dating industry worldwide in 2020 and 2022.

Off the clock, Leigh volunteers for Early Partners, a non-profit daycare and preschool. She is an avid scuba-diver, student-pilot, and proud human and dog mom.

Garick Giroir is the Creative Marketing Manager at OnPath Credit Union, where he leads strategic initiatives that engage and educate members while supporting the credit union’s growth. With a focus on integrating AI into marketing, Garick specializes in prompt engineering for brand voice and using AI to gather valuable campaign insights

Garick has worked with prominent brands such as NFL Films, Peoples Health, and AARP. He is a five-time recipient of the Credit Union National Association’s (CUNA) “Category’s Best” Diamond Award for creative excellence and outstanding results. In 2017, he was named Ad Person of the Year by the American Advertising Federation of New Orleans.

Garick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from LSU and is a certified credit union financial counselor.

After working in enrollment management where she focused on recruitment strategy and marketing, Erica managed a team of online marketers at the largest digital marketing company in the Gulf South. There, she supported the web development, SEO, online advertising, and content marketing teams in executing strategies which elevated organizations to stand out and be seen amongst the chaos of the online marketplace. Now, as the COO at rasa.io, she gets to blend her love of digital marketing technology and email in order to support the incredible community of rasa.io customers.

Ben West

A lifelong resident of Southeast Louisiana and LSU graduate, Ben has been working with local and national brands to perfect their brand voice for well over a decade. Before joining the Deep Fried team as Account Director, Ben specialized in digital and social spaces, most recently holding the title of Digital Marketing Director where he managed both strategy and client relationships.

In addition to agency work, Ben also spent time building and managing internal teams for B2C and B2B companies. His portfolio includes a wide range of industries – craft beer, healthcare, national spirits brands, tourism, consumer packaged goods, and oilfield services.
