Is this a paid internship?

Accepted Answer

Candidates who are enrolled in WIOA or another program with work experience funding may use their program funding to receive a stipend during the internship. The internship will be unpaid for all other candidates.

Question 2

Will I get a job after the internship is over?

Accepted Answer

Candidates who perform well during the internship may receive an offer for a part-time position with SOAR Community Network after the internship is over. Candidates who perform well in the role may receive more work hours during their internship or once the internship is over.

Question 3

Is the internship onsite, hybrid, or remote?

Accepted Answer

The intern can either work hybrid (part time remote and part time from the Mclean office) or work 100% remote.

Question 4

What is the schedule like for the internship? How many hours will the intern work each week?

Accepted Answer

The intern will work 10-20 hours a week during the internship. The intern may work closer to 20 hours a week if they are performing exceptionally well. The intern can discuss their work schedule with SOAR Community Network to create a schedule that works well for the intern and SOAR.
