This advanced class will cover an overview of how to effectively market to the government. You’ll come away knowing the essential documents to prepare and actionable tasks to begin making positive progress in raising awareness about your company. Topics include:
Marketing vs. advertising;
Learning the government’s vocabulary;
Articulating your value proposition;
Writing a marketing plan for government sales;
Market research to identify your target government client;
Preparation of an elevator pitch speech;
Crafting a great capabilities statement document and briefing presentation;
Updating SBS (small business search);
Email marketing.
This 10 session IN PERSON series meets the 1st Wednesday monthly in 2026, and is hosted by the GT APEX Accelerator in partnership with the Lucas Center for Entrepreneurship.
