“India: Between China, the West, and the Global South” will be the subject of the Great Decisions program at the Mariposa Museum on Thursday, May 1. The program will begin at 7 p.m.
The session, part of a series on world affairs from the nonpartisan Foreign Policy Association, will include a video. Robert Beck, a retired foreign policy official, and Peter Henriques, a retired international business executive who lives in Peterborough, will moderate the audience discussion.
Issues to be considered include how India’s emerging role may influence the dynamics between the United States and China.
An article by Leslie Vinjamuri, professor of international relations at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, was published in the 2025 Great Decisions study guide.
