School may be closed, but the kitchen is open! Join us at Maricel’s Kitchen

for a full day of cooking, learning, and fun.

🌟 What’s Happening

• Two Hands-On Classes:
• Choose the Morning Session (10:00 AM – Noon),
• the Afternoon Session (1:00 PM – 3PM), or sign up for both.
• Lunch Break for Full-Day Students: Students enrolled in both sessions will stay with us for a supervised lunch break in between.
• Ages 10 and up (mature 9-year-olds welcome upon approval - just call us first).

Morning Session (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

🍤 Chicken & Shrimp Hibachi with Lo Mein

Kids will learn how to cook a hibachi-style meal complete with chicken, shrimp, and tasty noodles.

Afternoon Session (1:00 PM – 3:00 PM)

🍋 Yuzu Madeleines & Mini Cream Puffs

A sweet session where kids bake light, citrusy madeleines and fill cream puffs with delicious pastry cream.

• Learn essential cooking and baking skills in a supportive, fun environment.

2. Follow directions the first time they are given.

4. Respect classmates, staff, and the kitchen environment.
5. Use kind words and actions.

Safety First

If a child is not following directions or is behaving in a way that could put themselves or others at risk, our chefs will first provide a reminder and redirect. If the unsafe behavior continues, we will contact the parent/guardian and the child may be asked to be picked up early and that no refund will be issued in this circumstance.
