About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Event Overview:

Who you are didn’t begin with you—it’s rooted in stories, memories, migrations, dreams, and generations.

Mapping Identity is a reflective virtual workshop where we explore who we are by looking back—into our ancestry, values, cultural influences, and lived experiences. Through guided prompts and symbolic visuals, you’ll create your own personal identity map: a creative and intuitive snapshot of what has shaped you.

This is not about knowing your full family tree—it’s about connecting dots that already live within you and honoring your roots, your path, and your voice.

BONUS: All participants will receive a free month of access to “Roots & Revolutions: The Foundations of Black History” — a 12-week self-paced course exploring African history, Black resistance, and cultural brilliance from the ground up.

What You’ll Experience:

🧭 Guided identity mapping using collage, sketching, or writing
🧠 Journaling prompts to explore values, memories, and cultural influence
🌍 Space to reflect on heritage, healing, and legacy
🎨 Gentle visual creation (no art experience needed)
🎁 A free month of access to the “Roots & Revolutions” course
