Neurodivergent refers to individuals whose brains function differently from the "typical" brain. This can include people with ADHD, autism (AuDHD), dyslexia, and other differences that affect executive functioning, communication, and behavior.

This workshop is designed for managers, team leaders, business owners, and HR professionals who want to better support neurodivergent staff. Whether you’re new to managing or have years of experience, this training will provide valuable tools and insights.

Is the venue accessible?

Accepted Answer

Yes. There is an elevator in the building and the session will be held in a conference room with chairs with space for any wheelchairs. We also have space to move mobility aides out of the way as well. There is a bathroom near by as well.

Can I take notes or record the workshop?

We encourage you to take notes, but recording is not permitted to protect the privacy of all participants. You will, however, receive a summary of key concepts after the workshop including any presentations slides that were covered. Bring a notebook or a computer to type notes on.

Do I need to bring anything to the workshop?

No, just yourself and any specific challenges you’d like to address! You’ll also have access to resources and materials after the session.

Will I get to ask questions?

Yes! There will be time for questions and open discussion. You’ll also hear from other attendees who may be facing similar challenges in their leadership roles.

Is this just for people who directly manage staff?

In short, no. This is for anyone that is in or wants to be in a leadership role in any organization or community or who wants to learn more about neurodiversity and how they can support their ADHD, autistic, dyslexic staff.

Do I need to have neurodivergent staff to benefit from this workshop?

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily! Many of the strategies we cover—like improving communication, managing mental load, and balancing structure with flexibility—are helpful for all staff, but especially impactful for neurodivergent team members.

I have ADHD, would this workshop help me?

Absolutely. If you are a manager or leader in ANY capacity this can help you in your day-to-day work and collaboration. We all have different needs and this workshop can support your leadership as well!
