"Management of Difficult Canals and Cases"
Overview
Location Basic Science Bulding Room 433.
Utilizing and understanding how to use pre-bent hand files is becoming a lost art. In this program, participants will learn why and how pre-bent hand files should be used in every case, including those involving enhanced irrigation. The program will include a discussion of the “instrumentation playbook” to work up complex canals more consistently and predictably, as well as a discussion of length determination and how the EAL should be used to achieve more accurate and consistent patency/obturation lengths. Additionally, participants will learn about myofascial pain, including referral cases that can be some of the most challenging diagnoses a clinician may encounter in their daily practice, as well as how to identify and treat patients with myofascial pain.
