Catch It Where It Falls - Manage Rainwater Using Green Infrastructure
This course will provide an overview of nature-based solutions to managing rainwater on residential sites with the goal of keeping water on site where it can soak into the ground whenever possible. These green stormwater infrastructure practices help protect water quality and provide co-benefits such as improved aesthetics, pollinator habitat, and groundwater recharge. Examples that will be covered include: rain gardens, green roofs, permable pavers, and rainwater harvesting.
