MAMMAL HALL - a site-specific performance
Event Information
About this event
MAMMAL HALL is a site-specific, wandering adventure performance designed especially for the University of Iowa Museum of Natural History. Under the direction of choreographer Stephanie Miracle in collaboration with Michael Landez and students from the Department of Dance, this curious dance theater piece uses audio tours and original sound by Ramin Roshandel to guide audiences into unexpected events in the nooks and crannies, transforming the museum's spaces and its inhabitants.
Performed by: Danica Clayton, Bennett Cullen, Sabrina Duke, Laila Franklin, Jenny Fairman, Hunter Glenn, Julia Miller, Alyssa Simpson, Anna Wetoska, and Dorthea Yu.
Support for this event was provided by the University of Iowa Division of Performing Arts.

ACCESSIBILITY
The Museum is handicapped accessible through an entrance on the east side of Macbride Hall, adjacent to the stairs leading up to our main entrance. An elevator provides access to all Museum galleries. Please note that the aisle through the balcony of Macbride Auditorium, which is often used for university classes, is the only path between the elevator and Hageboeck Hall of Birds on the north end of the third floor. Visitors who need to use the elevator are always allowed to cross the auditorium, even during classes. If this is a critical issue for you, please email uipm-visitorservice@uiowa.edu or call 319-467-1373, and our staff can inform you about the auditorium schedule and help you plan your visit to the museum.
