Making Zines! (Workshop)

This workshop will facilitate the crafting of handmade zines that take inspiration from and reflect and expand on the symposium theme of boundless bound. Zines produced in this workshop might, for instance, reflect on the question of how DIY culture, book art, and art books expose, explore, and expand the boundaries of publishing history, visual culture, and media studies. Participants will be provided with materials to construct individual or collaborative zines. With permission and time permitting, zines will be reproduced and distributed at the book fair.
