Will I need to bring any of my own supplies or utensils?

No. All supplies will be provided.

How many Tamales are included with my general admission ticket?

A half dozen (6) will be available for each general admission adult ticket.

Will I be actually making Tamales?

Yes, but for the sake of time we will provide you premade Tamales to ensure you will be able to focus on perfecting your Tamale making skills and ensuring you take home the full half dozen.

Do I have to pay for parking?

No. There is plenty parking onsite within our gated parking lot. Parking is free.

Are there vegetarian options available?

Yes. Please be sure to message us with any allergy restrictions you may have.

Are children allowed?

This event is recommended for children ages 10+ years. You may add on 1 child admission ticket per adult ticket. This allows your child to join hands on tamale making workshop. No tamales are included with a child general admission ticket.

Will there be other food/drinks available?

Yes. Refreshments and light snacks will be provided.

Hands-On Tamale Making

Step by step demonstration preparing masa, filling, wrapping, and steaming. Each participant will be able to make their own Tamales (guided with hands on help).
