Event description

Description

This nuts and bolts workshop focuses on strategies for making room for writing - both physically and emotionally - when life gets busy. Participants will leave with a plan to revive or refresh their writing practice, as well as inspiration and readings on how books get built in the midst of everyday life.

About the Instructor: Ally Kirkpatrick is a creative nonfiction writer at work on her first book. She recently graduated with her MA in creative nonfiction from the NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Study. She is the founder of Old Town Books.

Scholarships are available for this workshop. If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, please send a few sentences about yourself, your goals as a writer, and an outline of how you would benefit from a scholarship through the contact form on our website.
