Learners will engage in discussions, role play and hands-on activities around display in the early childhood classroom. Learners will leave with strategies and materials to use their classroom display as teaching tools.

Training Objectives:

1 .By the end of this session, learners will list three areas of the classroom where display can be used as a teaching tool.

2 .By the end of this session, learners will explain the difference between individualized artwork and product artwork.

3 . By the end of this session, learners will demonstrate their ability to engage children in conversations around the display.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training. If you have questions or concerns, or need additional information about this process, feel free to contact the Professional Development Training Coordinator at 775-856-0100
