Dr. and Sofia Cuddeback are hosting a mini-retreat exploring how to reclaim the household. Join them for a Saturday of philosophical examination, good company, and refreshments.

Our theme: Home can be a place of the richest activities and the deepest belonging. It can be the place we all most want to be, and to return to. This day’s lectures and discussion will suggest a radical approach to refocusing and reclaiming life in the home.

Who this is for: Open to all between the ages of 17 and 117 (nursing babies only). The event is free other than the required cost of catered lunch, coffee, and snacks ($28).

About John & Sofia: John and Sofia Cuddeback have been married twenty-eight years and are blessed with six children and four grandchildren. John is a long-time philosophy professor at Christendom College and started LifeCraft (originally, BaconFromAcorns) to apply an ancient wisdom to life today, with special attention to household, friendship, good work, and stewardship. His lectures, videos, and writings are widely available. Sofia is an intimate partner in John’s intellectual pursuits while pouring her heart and soul into making their home a place of life and love. Her lectures are noted for their clarity in addressing the concrete challenges of daily life.
