Making Friends with Conflict Workshop

Making Friends with Conflict Workshop

By Alternatives to Violence - Omaha

Overview

Conflict is a part of life and how we approach it may differ greatly from others. Explore your style and others in fun, learning afternoon.

Imagine a movie without conflict - the plot would quickly dull. The same is true with our lives - conflict adds depth and meaning, but it doesn't have to turn life into a tragedy or violent. Conflict can be a way to understand and grow.

Omaha Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP), a grassroots volunteer organization, encourages finding the innate power within your and others to find peaceful solutions. We call it Transforming Power.

We invite you to an introduction to AVP's Transforming Power with a Making Friends with Conflict mini-workshop as we explore ways to turn conflict into nonviolent win-wins for ourselves and others.

Refreshments will be served.
