Conflict is a natural part of life, but how we handle it makes all the difference.
In this free, 3-hour workshop, you'll learn practical tools and strategies to navigate disagreements, improve communication, and turn challenges into growth. The workshop will include:
- Small group reflections on personal experiences with conflict
- Activities that explore different ways to handle anger, assertiveness and power constructively in your relationships
- Discuss "red and green messages" - messages that either advance conflict or invite collaboration - and how to use them in active conflict
- Discussion of how to apply learnings in your everyday life (especially with family gatherings for the holidays coming up!)
This workshop is hosted by Alternatives to Violence Project - Colorado (AVP-Colorado), a non-profit organization that co-facilitates workshops in nonviolent communication, conflict resolution and more in prisons and communities. To learn more about AVP-Colorado, visit: www. avpcolorado.org
