Making Detroit’s Youngest Children a Priority
A Community Conversation with Mayoral Candidates

Detroit is getting a new mayor! Join Detroit Champions for Hope and Hope Starts Here for this free, family-friendly event - with lunch! - where parents, families, child care providers, and neighbors can share hopes and challenges for raising young children in our city. Mayoral candidates Mary Sheffield (confirmed) and Solomon Kinlock, Jr (invited) want to listen and learn about what it will take to put our youngest children first.

The community conversation is free and open to the public. We encourage all Detroiters to join us in shaping Detroit’s future. Free on-site child care and lunch will be provided to attendees.
