Join us for the Making Connections In-Person Workshop on Wednesday, October 16th, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Tri-Valley Opportunity Council, located at 1100 North 4th Street, Suite 210, Le Sueur, MN 56058. This full-day, interactive workshop is open to all school staff and will provide a deeper understanding of the Migrant Education Program (MEP) and how to support migratory students effectively. Participants will explore federal requirements, discover essential tools and resources, and learn how to access and utilize the Minnesota Migrant Education Resource Center (MMERC). Through collaborative discussions and hands-on activities, attendees will gain practical strategies for identifying and supporting highly mobile students, regardless of their role in the school. Whether you're new to MEP or looking to expand your knowledge, this workshop will help you start the school year informed, connected, and ready to make a difference.
